My name is James, and the story behind Redeemed Supply Co. begins with a decision I made in 2020. Facing the possibility of losing my family and my career, I knew something had to change. I entered a local treatment center for the second time, determined to take my recovery seriously.
After treatment, I found a sponsor and began working the steps of Alcoholics Anonymous. My sponsor challenged me to pray and surrender my will and my life to the care of God. I could not have known then how that simple challenge would lead me toward a life centered on Jesus Christ. Along the way, I found a church home at The Church of Exiles and publicly declared my faith through baptism.

As I came to know Christ, I came to understand the Gospel: we have all sinned and need God’s forgiveness. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, and rose from the dead. He bore the judgment we deserved so that we could be reconciled to God. Forgiveness and eternal life are gifts of His grace, received through faith in Christ. He calls us to turn from sin and trust in Him.
Through Christ and His grace, I have been redeemed by the blood He shed for me.
Since getting sober and finding God, I have repaired my marriage and rebuilt trust with my family. My wife and I have welcomed children who have never seen me drink, and we are raising them in a Christ-centered home. That is a part of my story I am deeply grateful for.
God has also led me into a new career and given me opportunities to grow and serve. I am working toward a bachelor’s degree in operations management and serve as the assistant director of the children’s ministry at The Church of Exiles. My journey is still unfolding, and I continue to grow in faith. My hope rests in Christ and what He has done for me.
Today, my wife and I are building Redeemed Supply Co. together. This business provides another source of income for our family, and it gives us a way to share a message that has changed our lives. My passion for it comes from what Christ has done for me. I want others to know Him, understand the sacrifice He made for us, and discover the hope found in Him. Our prayer is that something as simple as a hat can open the door to that conversation.
